ZIM FLUGSITZ is successful at the AIX16 in Singapore

With success, ZIM FLUGSITZ GmbH from Markdorf near Friedrichshafen appeared from 25 to 27 October at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2016 in Singapore. Foundations were laid for three large orders.

The manufacturer of weight-optimised seats from southern Germany was represented at the specialist trade fair for aircraft interiors in Asia for the first time. The trade fair participation aimed at establishing contacts and presenting of the company with his sales office in Singapore.

At the trade fair stand, which was 42 m² in size, visitors were able to gather information on premium economy seats, economy seats, as well as business-class seats. The core of the presentation entailed the further development of the EC00, an economy seat for medium- and long-haul flights. The EC01-ZIMflexible NG is characterised by new design, more storage space and legroom for the knees as well as a 13” monitor. The seat’s lightweight along with its innovative backrest were very well received by the specialist visitors.

Some Asian airlines have already reported specific need for it and declared their intentions to furnish their planes with the seat.

The trade fair takes place in Hamburg on an annual basis with around 500 exhibitors and additionally taken place on a smaller scale at alternating international trade fair locations. Thereby, exhibitors from various nations present their new developments for cabin interiors, service modules, media technology and seating.
